December is a whirlwind of awesome

Christmas Tree and Christmas gift

I can’t remember the last time I was this busy. Between wrapping presents, shopping, decorating, editing a super secret special project, writing the next No One’s book, just wow. WOW.

But even though it is the craziest, busiest holiday we’ve had in a long, long time, it has also been the least stressful.

Want to know why?

It’s because of you. Each and every one of you who has supported my career this year, buying my books, spreading the word about my books, encouraging my when I get frustrated and sharing my successes–every one of you has helped, because for once, we had a little financial breathing room, and it made Christmas preparations much easier. I hope that doesn’t sound like me bragging, because it isn’t meant to be. I’m just truly and utterly grateful.

We were blessed this year to be able to sponsor a child in need through a program at our local elementary school, and I can’t even begin to describe how good that felt. And it got me thinking about how really, my readers are the reason we could afford to do that, and I wondered how I could thank all of you.

Hence my new plan was born. Each month I’m going to randomly select one of my newsletter readers to win a $25 gift card to the retailer of the winner’s choice. I’ll email the winner, and also post the winner’s name here on my blog. Our first winner is Terah E., so Terah, check your email. If you aren’t already subscribed to my newsletter, you can join it on the right hand sidebar, or just click here.

Thank you so much for sticking with me this year, and I look forward to great things to come.

As an additional bonus for being so awesome, I’ve compiled a little list of holiday giveaways currently running for you. (As of 12/12)

And if I find any more, I’ll add them to the list. Feel free to post any you know of in the comments.

I do have one piece of news on the next No One’s Book — First, it’s having a title change, to No One’s Hero instead of No One’s Fool. Second, it is going to be delayed. I’d originally planned to have it out in January, but that’s just not going to happen. I’m hoping for late February, but that’s still subject to change.
