Feature And Follow Friday: Old books?

FF_2013Button 300x300It’s Friday and you know what that means.

The weekend is essentially here. It’s also time for Feature and Follow Friday, hosted by Parajunkee’s View and Allison Can Read!

I prefer that you follow me wherever you like your content delivered =) All my links are in the top right corner of the page, above my header. Thanks!

This weeks question is:

[box style=”gray rounded” ]What do you do with your books after you’re done reading them?[/box]

I’ve really condensed my book collection over the last several years during moves. This is where I keep my books:

This is a closet in my office that we use as a media closet. Our old entertainment center holds our games, dvds and books.

We have a lot of storage space in our house now, but it is open space. I need shelving. My dream is to build custom bookshelves along one entire wall of my office, and then I’ll be able to store oodles of books.

But I’m also finding that I need less bookspace now, since most of the books I read are either ebooks or library books. I probably only buy one or two physical books a year, compared to 6 or 7 ebooks a month.

My daughter is also running out of room on her bookshelf, so book storage is definitely going to have to be a priority in the very near future. The bottom shelf of her bookcase is now completely full because she found my stash of Nancy Drews from when I was a kid and they’ve now been added to her collection.
