Feature and Follow
Another Friday, another Feature and Follow. I have missed the last few, but we are back this week. While you are here, if you look to the right on the sidebar you’ll see the link to my brand new FB Fan page, I’d love it if you follow me there as well.
Also, before we jump into the question for today, I have some exciting news to share. The Cornerstone cover is complete! My very talented cover designer agreed to do an entire interview to go along with the cover reveal, focusing on tips for covers for Indie Authors. So if you are interested in that, be sure to check back.
Q: Do your reading habits change based on your mood? Do you read a certain genre if you are feeling depressed or happy?
I don’t know that I pick genres based on my mood, but what I am reading can greatly influence my mood. What effects my reading mood even more is what I have just previously read. For example, After reading a heavier novel, like one in the Diana Gabaldon Outlander Series, or A Song Of Ice And Fire by George R. R. Martin, I often will gravitate to something Young Adult. If I read a particularly corny Young Adult, I am then more likely to pick up a heavier book next.
What about you?
